Exemption Scholarship

Exemption scholarships are scholarships granted to Congolese students in application of the Agreement in the field of higher education between the Government of the Republic of Congo and Quebec, signed on December 04, 2002.

Under this Agreement, the Quebec party offers to the Congo scholarships in the form of exemption of school fees, allowing Congolese students to benefit from the regime applicable to Quebec students. In other words, thanks to this agreement, Congolese students who study in Quebec universities pay the same university fees as their Canadian counterparts.

Once received, the files are transmitted to the Canadian authorities, who ultimately select the candidates who will benefit from the exemptions. These applications are therefore subject to a selection process. Not all applications will result in a scholarship.
